Our Clip In Shutters are custom-made from durable poly-silk vinyl and require no tools, drilling, or screws for installation. They clip directly onto your existing window frames, eliminating the need for outer framing. Perfect for both rental properties and privately owned homes with UPVC double-glazed windows!

Measuring and installation of plantation shutters have previously required a highly skilled installer. By 'de-skilling' the survey and installation process and eliminating the outer frame and therefore reducing the materials required, the overall cost of Clip In Shutters in comparison to traditional shutters is greatly reduced.

From the outside of the property, Clip In Shutters will offer that classic traditional aesthetic offered by any other plantation shutter product. From the inside, Clip In Shutters appears less clunky and a little more slim-line in comparison to other carpenter fitted shutters.

As they are fitted directly to the window, this means that window sills are kept free. Also, when panes are opened, the Perfect Fit Shutter moves with the opening pane, rather than having to open the traditional shutter first. The horizontal louvers of the shutter can be tilted to any angle. You can tilt them fully closed to block out light and allow full privacy, or rotate them open to allow daylight in whilst still offering a degree of sun protection and privacy.

Our Clip In Shutters are handmade, on our own production line, right here in the UK. The components are supplied to us by the trade only company, Louvolite. Our production line is based at a Louvolite main dealer in Birmingham.

A world leading guarantee of 120 months (ten years) is given with all Clip In Shutters. Compare that to the 24 months usually given for MDF shutters or 36 months for wooden shutters.

You can install Clip In Shutters in any room, including kitchens and bathrooms, as long as you have uPVC windows with an internal bead. They're lightweight, making them perfect for conservatory windows. They also fit French doors but are not suitable for patio sliding doors or bi-fold doors.

There are two shades of white, pale grey and light cream available. These have been developed to compliment most plain white, coloured or woodgrain windows. ARCTIC WHITE: This is the brightest white offered and is best suited to woodgrain windows or coloured windows COTTON WHITE: A very subtle off white, it has been developed to most closely match the colour of standard, white PVC windows Ultimately of course, the choice of colour is yours, and, no matter which you select, they will look good!

Our shutters have been developed and designed, to be fitted by most competent DIYers. Accurate measuring is vital and the key to a simpler fit and we have both written and video guides available. Of course, not everyone wants the responsibility of measuring, fitting, clearing up and disposing of the packaging. If you do not want to measure and fit yourself, we can do it all for you at a small additional cost.
