'HOW TO' GUIDE
MEASURING

Our Clip In Shutters are easy to measure, but the method is a little different from most other types of blinds.

Normally, the recess or window opening is measured, but with clip in shutters, each panel of glass needs to be measured separately.

As with any measuring, it’s key to take your time and check your measurements twice.

For a quote, we can accept approximate sizes but if you order, these will need to be extremely accurate - it's critical to a ensure a good fitting shutter.

'HOW TO' GUIDE
FIT A SINGLE PANEL

Clip In Shutters are very easy to fit.  You won't need a drill, tools or screws, just a bank card and the clips that will be supplied with your order.,

Simply place your bank card in the bottom left corner of the glass, the left edge of the clip fits here, between the rubber bead and the glass.

Repeat this in each of the other corners until all four clips are in place. Now offer up the shutter panel, bottom first and locate the clips into the shutter slots.

Tilt the top edge forward, press down slightly and engage the top clips.  That's it!

'HOW TO' GUIDE
FIT MULTIPLE PANELS

To fit multiple clip in shutters in a single glass area, start by installing the top and bottom clips in the corners of the the far-left panel.  Using a bank card as a guide, mark the position of the right side clips with a pencil, insert them into the glass and install the panel.

Now, align the next panel with the one to the left, mark the clip positions and install the panel.  A cover strip (an Astragal) will overlap the vertical edge of the first panel to minimise light gaps between the panels.

Repeat this process for each subsequent panel.  The video demonstrates how to install  your Perfect Fit shutters:
